Maritime Automatic Weather Station, MAWS

Maritime Automatic Weather Station, (MAWS) observes general meteorological components such as wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, etc. and most importantly for maritime observation, it measures wave height. MAWS can be achieved by a floating buoy or a stationary system installed on a lighthouse. Kweather uses 3M buoy and NOMAD buoy from AXYS Technologies Inc. (Canada) and Ultrasonic wave meter as a stationary system from Kaijo Corporation (Japan).
